As a long standing client, Bees have always had a strong brand from which the company has grown to be a national leader in costume jewellery. Having taken their brand and developed it through digital, publications and advertising, the time had come for us to revisit the core brand and bring it up to date with the company's current standing.
THE SOLUTION
We looked back at Bees' branding over the years, finding that they had come full circle having born the brand through the use of 'bees', honey, etc. We wanted to stay true to the original concept and reintroduce elements of it. We created the honeycomb pattern, redefined the bee emblem and expanded the colour palette. We also developed the typography, expanding on the single font and introducing the 'Hive' (a magalogue) to make the brand more eclectic and representative of the depth of products and audience.
THE RESULT
The branding is highly successful. We have implemented it through various communication material, including exhibitions, editorial and email marketing.
